Children's Ministries

We desire that all children come to know how precious they are in the Lord's sight. Our Saviour's is dedicated to walking with your child in their faith journey. We are committed to helping all God's children grow in God's word through love and grace, music, study, worship, fellowship and service to others.

We are committed to nurturing children in their faith, by equipping all adults within the family to be faith nurturers.

Church School Times:

Sunday 9:15 and 10:35

Wednesday 5:30-6:15

Church School Curriculum

3 years old - 4^th Grade children will be using Spark Curriculum. This curriculum brings Bible stories to life in a way that is both engaging and relevant to their lives today. Spark also encourages children to open the Bible and explore God's word through a variety of activities. Spark follows the lectionary, which means that the stories the adults are hearing in worship are the same stories the children are learning about in the classrooms, this makes it much easier for adults to make that connection and guide your children in the faith journey.

5^th and 6^th Grade children will be using Connect which is an awesome way for them to revisit the Bible's greatest stories, and to discover how the Bible relates to their lives today. It is Bible-centered church school with quirky humor to keep them interested.

Here how it works:

See:

They will watch a video that blends witty, just for them humor and solid theology to introduce the theme for the week.

Explore:

Kids will explore an Anchor Text that sets up the lesson's theme along with 3 Supporting Texts to see how that theme plays out in the Bible.

Make:

After exploring the text and themes, they will be able to relate the themes to their own lives through a project-style style activity.

Volunteer Opportunities

Teachers and leaders are the backbone of Christian Education here at Our Saviour's. Without your help and guidance, we would not be able to offer the great educational opportunities that we do each year. It takes more than 100 volunteers to make our program succeed. We have many opportunities in various areas and time commitments.
