Middle School Youth Group

The Middle School Youth Group meets twice a month on Sunday nights. The activities include service events, bible studies, and retreats. All youth are invited to come to attend.

Middle School Mission Trip

The Middle School Youth will be heading to Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada June 15th through 21st. We will be working in Nursing homes, homeless shelters, and so much more. The mission trip does count as a confirmation credit for your week of camp and it will also count for 28 hours for your service. If you are interested in signing up, please see Lynette.

Mission Mexico - Coming in 2009. Ever other year, St. Philip's Lutheran, Our Saviour's Lutheran, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, and Hastings United Methodist team up to go to Juarez, Mexico to build Casas, work at orphanages, clown ministry, and tons of other service opportunities. Look for information coming out the Summer of 2008,

Fundraisers - We love to support our youth in any activity that they would like to participate in here at OSEL. The fundraisers go to help pay for Camp Wapo or the Mission trips. Here is a list of the following fundraisers.

Scrip - This is a gift card fundraiser. We purchase the gift cards at a discounted rate and then you pay the full price for the gift card. We get the difference. [ Download the Scrip Form ]

Example - You purchase a $100 gift card. We purchased it for a 2% discount. So $2.00 goes to your child's account.

Scrip is available anytime during the week.

Spring Plant Fundraiser -

  • March 14th - Plant forms are due to the office
  • May 5th - Flowers are delivered (The same week of Mother's Day)

50's Drive In - Monday June 9th - the Our Saviour's Youth will be turning the church parking lot in the a 50's Drive In. All the youth and adults that are helping will be dressed in their 50's outfit. 50's music will be filling the air. We encourage you all to bring your old cars and have a great time.
