Orchestra

All instrumentalists are invited to join the Our Saviour’s orchestra that gathers together to rehearse and play about twice a year as the schedule permits. There is usually one or two rehearsals prior to the Sunday play date.

Our Saviour’s has many ways in which to involve those with special gifts in music. Whether your gift is vocal or instrumental, whether you prefer to be a part of an ensemble or provide solo music, there are many special events and services of worship throughout the year in which there is an opportunity for you to share your gifts and talents.

Summer Musical Camp

This is a one week long event in the month of June. Children learn a musical that tells a Bible story with lots of singing and speaking parts. The musical is presented at the end of the week at the 10:35 service and Monday evening service. This is a joint project of the Music and Education Department.

Sound Board Technicians

The responsibility of this position is to mix the sound board at the 10:35 service (7:00 on Monday’s during the summer) for the worship band. Interested persons will be trained on the sound board.
